Tab Trade - What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
This is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
